TERMS & CONDITIONS

CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE

While animals boarded at LAIGHTOWN KENNELS receive every care and attention, they are boarded entirely at the risk of the owner, and the management can accept no liability. Should any animal fall ill while being boarded, the management reserve the right to call in a Veterinary Surgeon and act on their advice, the expenses incurred to be met by the owner of the animal.

In the interest of other boarders, no animal suffering from any infectious or contagious disease or any animal which appears to be ill in any way, can be accepted as a boarder.

A deposit is required within seven days of making a booking, and if not received the booking will be cancelled. The deposit is NON REFUNDABLE. In the event of an animal being removed before the end of the period booked, we reserve the right to charge for the whole period booked. If a booking is cancelled within two weeks of entry date a cancellation fee will be charged.

No animal may be removed until the full amount for board has been paid. We reserve the right to rehome or otherwise dispose of an animal not collected within 14 days of stated departure date, after notice has been sent to the address left by the owner.

All boarding charges to be paid in advance. The management reserve the right to increase boarding charges without notice.

All dogs must wear a collar and disc bearing the name and address of the owner, or be microchipped or tattooed.

No animals will be accepted without a current vaccination certificate (including Kennel Cough vaccine in the case of dogs).

All animals should be treated against fleas and worms prior to entry. Please consult your vet about all treatments. ANY ANIMAL NOT VACCINATED, WORMED OR FLEA TREATED MAY BE REFUSED ENTRY AS A BOARDER. VACCINATION CARD MUST BE PRODUCED ON ARRIVAL.

Owners with more than one animal who wish them to share accommodation to give permission by signing the booking form on entry, however we reserve the right to house them separately should we feel it is in their best interests, the owners being charged accordingly. Please note that dogs and cats cannot be housed together.
